Moms Rock Card Stock

You don’t need to have 20 kids or 200 friends and family to figure out that buying birthday cards can get real pricey real fast. And time consuming. Well, forget that because “all life all online” is just getting better and better.

What I’m talking about today is CardsDirect’s online birthday cards. They offer a great assortment of cards (not just birthdays) at prices that are better than most store prices without the hassle of slumping out and picking a card from a disarrayed rack. Plus you can personalize the cards right online. You can even bulk up and save time and money by planning ahead and having your cards ready.

If you’re a mom, you know what a time saver this is just for birthday cards. But think about all the thank you cards you’d like to send (or knew you should have sent but didn’t have the time to get one). Mothers - for some reason - are expected to remember every holiday or otherwise important day and be there with the appropriate sentiment. What are you Super Mom now? Well, you can be with CardsDirect.

Here’s a sample card that’s one of my favorites:

OK, now you’ve saved time, made those special people happy, remembered to pick the kids up from wherever … wouldn’t some fresh-baked bread be nice?

I Love Books

Now this is something I can totally get on board with … Books on Board has an incredible selection of nearly 200,000 ebooks from major publishers and small presses at hard to believe prices. No matter what your preferred format - Adobe pdf, Microsoft Reader, Mobipocket, or Palm/ereader, BoB has it.

Their genre list is quite impressive as well. You can find some of the best Horror, Mystery, Thriller and Romance Authors represented here. They also have a great selection of non fiction titles, too, including Self Help, Business, Sports, Spiritual and Textbooks.

Oh, and you get these great prices with no membership fees. Sweet.

Good Gaming

I have a great link here today for all you vintage gaming geeks. Take a look at Nintendo NES used Consoles and Games all for sale at great prices at nintendosforsale.com.

These are some really nice looking units - especially for being used. (Some new complete sets are also up for grabs.) You can find more than Nintendo products here: look for Atari, Sega, Gameboy, Gamecube and even some XBOX for the really adventurous. They also have a nice selection of controllers and accessories.

Did I mention games? Lots of Legend of Zeldas, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out (remember him?), Super Mario and other old favorites.

Media Matters

Just in case you’ve been looking for a super media store online, I’ve located one for you and it just happens to bear the ever so appropriate name “Super Media Store.” This reseller and wholesaler site has an outstanding array of media at outstanding prices.

You can get your CD and DVD media (including Mini DVD, cDVD and Blu-ray), packaging case, ink and toner cartridges, computer hardware and memory, label printer, and toner cartridge needs all met in one place. They are located in California so the western U.S. gets the best shipping deals, but if you play your cards right you can get free shipping. Can’t get better than that.

Search That Satisfies

If you’re looking to buy a new big ticket item like home appliances - and you’re like 75 percent of shoppers - you do most of your searching and comparison shopping online, then buy offline. Does that mean you’ll easily find what you’re looking for in the main search engines? Unfortunately not.

Search engines can’t effectively find and deliver results relevant to your location and budget. Sure, they can show you what the big box store have in stock, but that doesn’t really help with local stores and specific products.

Enter the Krillion Localization Engineā„¢. Whether your looking for home appliances like Whirlpool Washing Machines or maybe a Sony flat panel television, you’ll find what you want, where you need it with Krillion search.

Feels Like Florida

OK, so much for Fall, it feels like Winter is starting to creep in. It’s time to start looking for a nice warm spot to curl up in … say, in Florida. I’m thinking of a spot in Panama City with a sweet view of the Gulf. Cape San Blas would be just right.

If you’re in the mood for a warm beach about now, take a look at these florida vacation rentals. They’re not limited to Panama City, in fact, the rentals available pretty much cover the entire Florida coastline. You can chose a villa, condo or home with the number of bedrooms you need to take the family, that special someone or just your self.

Shopping Bug

I am doing my Christmas shopping early this year with couponchief.com thereby saving myself from downloading a bunch of freeware to CD at the last moment. (Not that I’ve ever done that.)

I’m going to hit up TheNerds.net coupons for some navigational tools - since my partner still doesn’t know north from south in this town. TheNerds have the Forerunner 205 Portable Navigator for only $150.80 up until Nov. 12th, so grab it now.

I can always count on TigerDirect deals, but those gifts are usually for me, so I’ll have to hide them until well after the holidays.

I hope your shopping goes as well as mine is. If not, you know I always have some good freeware links up in here.
